Hi, I’m Adrian Ling — the heart and lens behind Adrian Ling Photography.

First and for most, I’m Husband a Father and a Son. Family is important and they are the heart beat and inspiration.

I believe that some of the most meaningful photographs are born not only from the bond you share, but ultimately from presence — from the quiet in-between moments where connection lives. That belief is what called me to be a family photographer, and it's what continues to shape the way I see.

Whether it’s a mom cradling her child in golden light, a dad chasing laughter through a field, or your children sharing a glance only they understand, a moment we never get to go back too— I live for the real, the raw unscripted moments of family life. My sessions are gentle and organic, allowing your story to unfold naturally. What I photograph isn’t just what your family looks like, but how your love feels in this exact season of life.

But that’s only part of my story.

In the studio I create clean, confident, bold headshots, every session is about more than just getting “a nice photo.” It’s about helping you feel confident, seen, and ready to own your space.

And in between both worlds is a third love of mine: fine art child portraiture — My fine art portraits are more than photographs—they are timeless echoes of your child’s spirit.

Photographed in truth — revealing who they are in that fleeting moment of becoming. Whether it’s stillness, wonder, quiet strength or untamed joy, creating space for your child to simply be. What remains is art that feels — in an heirloom portrait.

Why I Do This

My journey as a photographer, over a decade in the making. I was a quiet observer, always noticing the little things — the glance, the gesture, the emotion in between words.  Photography gave me a voice and, more importantly, a way to reflect back to people what’s crazy and beautiful about them. What started then, ended up becoming my calling.

I want to honour your story, to photograph your truth. To help you see the beauty you might not even notice in yourself.
